Many of our 2020 iResearch Institute cohort students were named ISEF 2021 finalists and Regeneron STS scholars. We think these outcomes are a testament to our successful training and preparation. The students also stated this was the best opportunity they have ever had in research. Please see our student presentation, paper writing, and competition highlights for 2020. Students who are interested in the program can learn more about iResearch Institute and apply on their website

In your journal/lab book, you should set up your data table correctly to write down your results as you do your experiment. Leave space in your journal to also write down any observations using your senses that you observe whilst experimenting.
This is recording your qualitative observations while writing down numbers is your quantitative results.
On average, you should try to get 100 data points ( middle school) and high school even more. When you determine the Averages, then make a graph of those results. You may use a computer to do this or make one by hand. All data tables, graphs need to be in your journal. Then complete your journal with your Analysis and Conclusions.
Teachers, If you have not already done so, please activate your STEMWIZARD registration. Please be sure your students use the name you have registered (PICK ONE: Mrs. Knowles, or Valerie Knowles, or V.Knowles).
STEMWIZARD is also open for students.
Remember projects needing SRC approval are due before November 20.
The teacher handbook is on the website and the power point from the teacher meeting is also posted. Please go under the tab "What We Have" then "Resources" to find these items.
